A new dawn in Asia Pacific coverage: Cosmetics Design launches Mandarin version!

On October 21st, Cosmetics Design Asia will extend its coverage of the cosmetics and personal care industry on the Asia Pacific region with a Mandarin version that caters to the 800 million speakers around the globe with updates on the industry's most newsworthy movements.

About one in five of the world’s population speaks a form of Chinese. Mandarin is the official language of the People’s Republic of China and by far the most widely used version, with over 800 million speakers.

As of this month, CosmeticsDesign-Asia.com will cater to this audience, bringing our readers the most newsworthy movements of the cosmetics industry in Asia Pacific, in Mandarin.

From scientific breakthroughs to newly announced business strategies; it goes without saying that this is an incredibly fast-paced industry, so staying one step ahead is crucial to staying on top.

The first article will be published on October 21st, which will be the start of a bi-weekly service that compiles the most newsworthy movements within that time period to be sent to a subscriber database of cosmetics professionals with vested interests in the region's cosmetics industry.

Striving to be a 'thought leader' in cosmetics industry news

The Cosmetics Design editorial team has been committed to building an extensive network of contacts in Asia Pacific since the launch of the website in 2012.

To date, this portfolio has grown to include regulatory, R&D, market research and trends experts as well as some of the biggest global and domestic cosmetics players, to provide the most up-to-date, cutting edge news to our subscriber base.

This new addition re-enforces that commitment, where we have partnered with Singapore based professional translators, WhizWordz.com to bring Mandarin speaking cosmetics professionals information about the opportunities, challenges and complexities global and domestic businesses are experiencing in the Asia-Pacific region.

"Having been in the industry for 10 years, all our translators are native speakers of the targeted language, and are well-qualified professionals from diverse backgrounds," Whizwordz co-founder Dawn Lee says regarding the partnership.

Refocus of market coverage in 2015

Further efforts to stay ahead of the game in cosmetics industry breaking news includes a fine tuning of our focus in 2015.

While Cosmetics Design Asia provides a wide coverage of the region's markets (China, India, Japan, Korea, Oceania, South East Asia) we are particularly delving into the opportunities and innovations around Southeast Asia's markets including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

Do not ignore Korea or Japan, but manufacturers and suppliers are now looking for information about Southeast Asia’s emerging markets. If you want to provide real insight that is being missed, dig into these countries,” Florence Bernardin, CEO of Inspiration et Information and Asia trends expert, told this publication earlier in the year.
