Swiss skin care manufacturer, Qamaré has developed a halal based range to treat skin exposed to hot climates in Asia, particularly pigmentation - one of the leading skin issues in the region.

According to the Switzerland headquartered company, skin that's been exposed to hot climates tends to produce more sebum and requires specific care to avoid producing even more of the oily substance.

Other factors like pollution, air conditioned environments and pigmentation disorders due to UV exposure are all skin concerns for Asia's population, sometimes from as young as fifteen.

Thus, Qamaré has heavily concentrated its focus on developing 'gentle cleansing routines' for the Middle East and Asia.

Exclusive 'Multi Dimensional Active' process

According to the ambitious international player, an exclusive 'Multi Dimensional Active' process enables its R&D experts to synthesize natural active ingredients for tailor-made formulas.

"Located at the foot of the Swiss Alps, our laboratories give meticulous attention to the selection of pure natural active ingredients with scientifically proven efficacy," say reps.

As a result, Qamaré has developed a range of alcohol free, high SPF with broad spectrum UVA, UVB and infrared filtered products, all of which are Halal (the Vegan certification is ongoing).

"Except for the CC Creams, all of our products contain at least 90% natural ingredients. These formulas are the result of lengthy research and cutting-edge formulations. They blend harmoniously with the natural process of the skin’s cellular activity."

'New generation' skin care that treats pigmentation

According to industry experts, UVA based products are key for treating pigmentation over SPF, and products that cater to pigmentation should be marketed as a 'brightener' that promotes clearer, younger skin rather than a 'whiter' complexion.

CC cream

Qamaré seems to have gotten that with its multi-functional 'CC Cream Swiss White' that claims to brighten and illuminate the face, prevent the signs of ageing, offer UV protection, moisturises, and corrects complexion imperfections.

Enriched with extracts of Centella, Sea Lily and Hyaluronic Acid, the active formulas of Q-Cell MDA and Q-Bright MDA act together to moisturise and reduce melanin synthesis and act directly on the production of dark spots for a more luminous and even complexion.

"Completed by broad-spectrum photostable UVA and UVB filters, this comprehensive new generation skin care product combats photo-induced ageing and complexion imperfections."
