Speciality chemicals distribution company IMCD will be supplying INEOS Oligomers’ polybutene range in India.
The ingredients are used in a range of cosmetics and personal care products in addition to sealants, adhesives, fuels and coating formulations, and IMCD will become the sole distribution partner for the Indopol range in India.
For IMCD, the partnership helps drive the company’s strategy for growth in this region.
“INEOS Oligomers have been a valued and strategic partner to the IMCD Group for many years. We are thrilled about this partnership extension as it further enhances our Group knowledge of this exciting product range and follows our strategy for growth in the Asian region,” said Marcus Jordan, IMCD group development director.
In addition, the company claims that it has experienced success with the product range in Europe due to efforts into customer specific technical developments, which will be replicated in India.
“We have an extraordinary team in Mumbai and through our unique structure we will be able to technically support and proactively share the knowledge we have acquired in Europe,” said Marco Madeddu, IMCD’s European commercial manager for INEOS.
