The patent application relates to carotenoid compositions comprising of a combination of phytoene and phytofluene that are said to be effective in whitening the skin.
"This patent to be issued, will be joining IBR's portfolio of colorless carotenoids, which will further strengthen the position of IBR's actives for topical use and oral supplementation as key proprietary ingredients for the beauty industry," says IBR VP of Business Development, Dr. von Oppen-Bezalel.
