Chinaplas 2017 focuses on intelligent manufacturing and industry 4.0
The Chinaplas 2017 trade exhibition focuses on ideas, intelligent manufacturing and the environment to push intelligent manufacturing.

In recent years, the rapid development of plastics and rubber industries around the globe has provided cosmetics and beauty brands with a variety of choices for product integration and innovation.

As the international cosmetics industry, led by consumer attitudes and demands, places sustainable development high on its agenda, calls for natural and organic cosmetics products that have been sourced through the green economy dominate the industry.

As such, the global plastics and rubber industries are prioritising intelligent manufacturing, green and environmentally friendliness, innovation and high efficiency.

Industry 4.0

Several countries, including Thailand [insert hyperlink to http://www.cosmeticsdesign-asia.com/Business-Financial/Thailand-to-focus-on-increasing-cosmetic-growth-by-up-to-10] have unveiled Industry 4.0 aims and developments, along with accompanying economic business models.

Intelligent manufacturing and automation technology are key trends that form a large part of this Industry 4.0 drive.

Japan's Robot Strategy and China’s Made in China 2025, for example, both advocate the acceleration of industrial transformation, with a clear focus on smart intelligent manufacturing.

Robots and automated machinery

Increasingly, companies require highly automated and interconnected factory technology to overcome the problems of high labour costs and low production efficiency.

Chinaplas 2017 will bring together leading plastics material suppliers, which focus on high-end innovative materials featuring high separation, high transparency, boiling resistance, UV resistance, antibacterial, ultra-high strength, avoid spraying and biodegradable features.

These high-tech materials help to evolve the cosmetics industry as they can meet the diversified demands of the downstream application industries, including green packaging.

Brands are committing to strategies that see them select lightweight, recyclable and biodegradable materials with diversified functionalities to ensure strong and continued sustainable development throughout China and APAC.

China-made technologies and the use of raw materials are strong developments that ensure high cost-performance and increasing competitiveness to help position China as a leader in the  global market.
