in-cosmetics Asia opens its doors to the latest ingredients innovation, today
The leading cosmetics ingredients show in the Asia Pacific region is ready for business today, with the Best Ingredient Awards set to highlight some of the most innovative new technologies.

This year’s event is set to be the biggest to-date, building on year-on-year growth that has seen the show develop from humble beginnings to a major international event.

The Cosmetics Design team will be pacing the aisles, bringing the latest from both the exhibitions stands and the most comprehensive conference program to date, covering marketing presentations as well as science and technology.

Two significant highlights for this year’s event will also include the South Korea country focus, which will see a huge number of ingredients players showcasing some of the most ground breaking technologies in the industry, as well as the first ever Product Trails, which will profile all of the new ingredient launches at the event.

Best Ingredient Awards

This year ten ingredients have been chosen by a panel of judges comprising industry experts from various aspects of the business, with the finalists being chosen through a combination of innovative science and product features.

The ten finalists are:

The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony on the second day of the event, Wednesday 30 October, at 6pm, which will be held in the Innovation Zone in the main exhibition hall.

All of these ingredients, together with 27 other new product launches from 22 different formulators will be highlighted in the Innovation Zone, with most of these products forming a apart of the Product Trails, leading interested parties to the relevant company stands, where they speak to the product developers in person.

The in-cosmetics Asia will open its doors on October 29th to a significantly increased crowd compared to last year, and is expected to reach a record 300 exhibitors which should attract in excess of the 5,136 visitors who came to the show in 2012.
