Kunming-based China Shenghuo Pharmaceutical holdings is launching its 12Ways Skin Care products in the US during the first quarter of 2008, following on from its success in China. The company says it has signed an agreement with cable television retailer Home Shopping Group to launch a multi-channel marketing campaign to promote the brand and the beauty products in the range through website, email distribution and television commercials. Campaign launch to include five products The initial campaign in the US will include five of the best selling products from the company's whole range, with a view to increasing the number of products offered and expanding its retail channels. The range will be sold in a kit form, which will feature a skin care mask, lotion, moisturizer and toner, together with an oral supplement aimed at optimizing skin health. China Shenguhuo CEO Gui Hua Lan said that the range is a long-established and well recognized brand in China, known for its natural-based formulation derived from Chinese medicines and therapies. In the US for the first time The company is known as a developer, researcher and manufacturer of pharmaceutical, nutritional supplements and cosmetic products that are distributed throughout China, and now for the first time in the US. Currently the company also exports medicinal products to other countries, including Indonesia and Russia. "From China to the West, we believe 12Ways will be well received by the US market and appeal to increasingly health-conscious consumers," he said.
