The organizer of the PCHi 2013 event, to be held in Guangzhou March 13 - 15, has opened up registration to what it claims will be the biggest ever event in China.

Reed Sinopharm have said that a more international scope for this year's event should help to drive growth of the event, which last year was held in the industrial hub of Shangai's Pudong area.

The event opened up for registration at the end of last week, and prospective visitors can pre-register at http://www.phci-china.com/en, a procedure that will allow individuals to avoid queuing on the day, as well as saving the on site registration fee of RMB 100.

On top of this, those pre-registering between October and February will each month be automatically entered for two chances to win a 3-day conference pass that will allow them to enter any conference at the event.

While next year's event is expected to attract more visitors than ever before, the sixth annual event is also expected to attract more than 300 exhibitors, which is also expected to be another record for the event.

The increased activity on the floor is also likely to translate into a far greater level of product innovation at the event, with the organizers claiming that at least 48 companies have already stated that they will be platforming new product innovations for the first time.

Key manufacturers that are expected to be platforming new ingredients technologies will include:

  • Ajonimoto
  • Ashland China
  • Bayer MaterialScience
  • CP Kelco
  • Momentive Performance
  • Purac China
  • Solabia
  • Symrise Shanghai
  • Wacker Chemicals

PCHi will take place at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center World Trade Center, 13 - 15 March
