Shiseido’s subsidiary Beauté Prestige International has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Azzedine Alaïa Couture of the Richemont Group to create, manufacture and distribute perfumes and cosmetics under the French fashion brand for the next 13 years.

BPI has built its portfolio of designer fragrances over the last 20+ years and will create Azzedine Alaïa’s first ever perfume as it looks to tackle the fragrance market.

Azzedine Alaïa comments, “Beauté Prestige International corresponds perfectly to the spirit of the Alaïa house.”

“I am delighted to work with them in launching this new project. I have total confidence in Beauté Prestige International to accompany me in creating a perfume that interprets my work and my world.”
