An Australian entrepeneur claims consumers have dubbed his new herbal lotion as the 'Viagra for the hair’ after trying the tonic that claims to promote hair growth by naturally appeasing DHT; a hormone found to stunt hair growth in men.

The idea behind the 'Easy Grow Hair’ lotion, founder Graham Epps explains, came after hearing that scientists identified the male enzyme as the main cause of hair loss due to the fact that it binds itself to hair follicles, cutting off the blood supply.

I knew the solution was in developing a product that counteracts that hormone,” he tells CosmeticsDesign-Asia.com.

Blocking DHT naturally

Epps reveals he’s been researching and experimenting with herbal remedies for his own hair loss and dandruff over the last 20 years and has finally found the right combination with the ‘Easy Grow Hair’ lotion.

According to the Aussie, the lotion contains natural ingredients, minerals and herbs that fertilize the hair follicle, stimulates blood vessels and naturally calms down the hair destroying hormone, jolting awake dormant follicles to re-stimulate the hair.

The formula is designed to block DHT and supply the proper nutrients to hair follicles while supplementing the body's natural supply of these nutrients,” he explains.

The entrepreneur recently appeared on Australian TV whereby he demonstrated the lotion’s ability to promote hair growth in two follically challenged men, who over a three week period applied the product on a daily basis.

I didn’t originally set out to make a business out of the recipe, but I have gotten unbelievable feedback from Australian viewers after seeing what it can do on TV. They have started calling it the 'Viagra for the hair’ .”

"Significant results within weeks"

The lotion’s ingredients include L-Cysteine, a natural amino acid considered essential for healthy growth and preservation, Allium Sativum (Garlic) to heal the skin, maintain blood circulation and fight any bacteria, Lavandula Officinalis to help with stress and nervous tension as Epps says this alone can cause hair loss along with common drugs used and Melaleuca Altemifolia (Australia Bush Tea Oil) to kill off bacteria, clean the skin open the follicles and help the scalp breathe better.

According to Epps, in the majority of cases people see regrowth within 3 to 4 weeks after using the lotion on a daily basis. "Unlike other hair loss lotions that discourage the use of hair growth tonics if the scalp is damaged in any way, this product is completely natural and can be used in all circumstances."
