Australian Sandalwood
Sandalwood Santalum spicatum Australian Sandalwood is widespread in Western Australia, originally found in Perth but is found throughout most of Western Australia, from the Pilbara, to the south coast of Western Australia into South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula and Flinders Ranges. There may be some trees in western parts of the Northern Territory. It has a wide range of skin care applications, including the treatment of acne and psoriasis, as well as being an anti-inflammatory and having soothing properties that make it good for after sun products. It is also popular as a fragrance.
