Covestro - Baycusan
in-cosmetics 2016 marks the first time that Covestro, formerly Bayer MaterialScience, is appearing at the show under its new name, and it will showcase beauty solutions based on the Baycusan brand polyurethane raw materials, supporting numerous new applications for skin, sun and hair care.
Covestro is another company to recognise the air pollution trend and has developed concepts for a new generation of skin protectants based on Baycusan C 1004; which also received an Innovation Award at the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show in Shanghai.
The company will also launch its new, ethanol-based polyurethane film-former Baycusan C 2000, for sprays, gels and oils, which aim to make formulations easy to spread and feel good on the skin.
It also increases the sun protection factor and promotes excellent water resistance.
