Amino Mason caters to individuals’ hair types
The Japanese beauty name launches its amino acid-enriched hair care products to consumers with hair of all textures and lengths.

Self-proclaimed as “the new thing in hair”,  Amino Mason is combining the consumer-loving natural and personalisation trends to create a range of hair products that provide a solution to individual hair care needs.

Amino Mason is known for their selection of natural hair products, packaged and delivered to customers in their signature brand packaging, a mason jar.

The Japanese company is now providing its natural line of amino acid-enriched hair products to consumers in the US as it strives to offer both men and women a unique and tailored hair care alternative.

Patented ingredient

Its Super Amino Complex formula is a chemical blend of amino acids, Keratin and Platinum. Using this complex, Amino Mason aims to create both a “healthier and cleaner mane”.

Amino Mason’s patented proprietary ingredient, 'Amino Keratin'  has 16 amino acids and keratin protein that “replenish hair with essential amino acids to repair and strengthen hair", Sariel Osada, Director at Cosmeist, explained.

Commenting on how the Platinum supports the formula and impact on the hair, Osada added: “[It] helps to seal the hydration and amino acids in the hair shaft so you can rest assure in going under the sun, pool, beach and enjoying summer activities without worrying about your hair being damaged”.

Why amino acids?

As “hair is mostly made up of protein, and proteins are made of amino acids”, Amino Mason believes that through selecting the appropriate amino acids, it is able to help consumers ensure their hair is “smooth and free of dirt”.

Amino Mason has launched two distinct hair care collections, poised for the US market: the Moist line and the Smooth line. Using botanical ingredients, Amino Mason aims to provide a safe and effective way of creating hair that showcases an “an ideal look and feel”.

Its hair range

The Moist line consists of Whip Cream shampoo, Milk Cream treatment, hair oil and night cream, along with a Butter Milk mask pack, to reflect the continuing popularity of natural skin care, and masks, in particular.  The Smooth line is also made up of Whip Cream shampoo and an oil cream mask pack, along with a fruits cream treatment and amino acid hair water.

"The Moist line is intended for people with very dry and damaged hair, and the Smooth line for those who are not experiencing such dryness," explained Osada.

Advising on which product to opt for depending on your hair type, Osada continued: "In addition, if you have thick hair, I suggest going with the Moist line due to its thicker, heavier ingredients as it uses more oil content as opposed to the Smooth line which uses fruit extracts.”

Those consumers with thin hair “can go with either”, but in general would be better prepared to select the Smooth line, Osada added.

Using its Super Amino Acid Complex as a base of ingredients, Amino Mason then produces each amino acid. This complex is designed to reach the cuticle's third layer to refresh and restore hair with amino acids.
