AXM Pharma ups Whisper distribution

US-owned AXM Pharma has signed two distribution agreements for its
Whispers feminine hygiene products, marking the company's continued
expansion onto the fast-growing China market. Following on from its
domestic ambitions, the company says that it will then turn its
sights to the global market, writes Simon Pitman.

The Chinese-based US GMP quality approved company said that the first agreement was signed for $217,654 with Beijing Hengcheng and the second agreement was for $145,103 with Nanhai Junyun.

The Whisper line includes Elegance Therapeutic Feminine Hygiene Wash, which is a feminine hygiene wash formulated with 8 herbal extracts and pH balanced. The product is positioned as a therapeutic wash to relieve vaginal itch and vaginitis and to sooth any vaginal irritation that may be present.

The Company also announced that the plant in Shenyang is now producing other supplement and skincare products, including Asarone, Elegance and Lifcomf products. In addition, trial batches of Lifegate, an anti-fatigue supplement, are being produced to become commercially available by May 1, 2005.

The company also said that Sunkist product sales - breath freshening films - and the sales of Asarone, Elegance and Lifcomf products are swiftly ramping up. With the most recent financing completed, additional raw materials have been sourced and are in the process of being purchased in order to immediately begin delivering goods against existing backlogged purchase orders.

AXM Pharma​, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Werke Pharmaceuticals, is the 100 per cent owner of AXM Pharma Shenyang, a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise under China law. The company's corporate headquarters are in Nevada, US.

By following both European and US manufacturing quality standards the company is aiming to expand its manufacturing potential by exporting into other Asia Pacific markets, closely followed by penetration into both the European and North American markets.
