The organizers of the In-Cosmetics Asia event have introduced ‘Ask the Experts Clinics' to provide tailor-made help and advice on a range of industry issues.

The three-day event is due to open its doors in Singapore on October 13, with the introduction of the clinics aiming to provide a more personalized and tailor-made approach for visitors.

Reed Exhibitions, the event organizer, says that by registering on-line to attend the event, personal care professionals can arrange a 30-minute consultation that will cost $20 for the session.

Consultations on marketing, patents, research, branding

The fee will reserve a session with an expert in a number of leading business areas, including patents, intellectual property, the latest on regulations, consumer research, branding and marketing.

The online registration requires a brief from the show visitor, allowing the expert to plan out the session, giving them the time to make specific research to give comprehensive and value-added responses to specific questions.

Panel of four experts

The panel of four experts will include branding and communications expert David Phey of TNBT, Dr. Alain Khaiat, who specializes in safety, quality and efficacy, Chris Chong, a lawyer in the field of intellectual proprietary and patents, together with Erwin Baumgartner, a market intelligence consultant.

Event manager Sarah Gibson said that given the added pressure bought about by the state of the global economy, the clinics would serve to give visitors one-on-one advice that could prove to be invaluable aid for future business decision-making.

“Finding experts who can give sound business advice can be a challenge so we are delighted to offer our visitors this opportunity,” Gibson said.

Although the advice sessions can also be organized at the show, Reed says that by pre-booking the consultations, visitors will be able to get the consultations for half the $40 on-the-spot asking price.
