Beauty Pavillion at Natural Products Expo attracts record number of attendees
There were a number of new natural beauty products, which made their debut at the show. In fact, retailers found over 540 new companies exhibiting at Natural Products Expo.
The retail buyer attendance at Natural Products Expo grew 13% this year and a there were several trends that emerged from the show.
Daily vitamins in toothpaste
Good Gums, a toothpaste replacement, cleans your teeth with natural cleansers, vitamin-C and effective herbs to give vitamins to promote healthy teeth and gums.
Vitacare, an oral care line infused with vitamins A, C, D, E, and calcium fortify teeth and promote healthy gums. The line of toothpaste, mouthwash and gum is sweetened with xylitol and is available in three fruity-mint combinations.
Superfruits, antioxidants, and vitamins are found in Dr. Collin’s natural line of toothpastes.
Natural men’s products
Bulldog, a natural line of men’s products made in the UK, touts a unique blend of eight essential oils. Bulldog formulators took special care to create products that are specifically formulated for characteristics of male skin. Moreover, the packaging is not the traditional blue or grey packaging instead it features rich green and brown with a clean white background.
Every Man Jack features a clean no-nonsense natural line for men, which includes products for hair body and face.
Making natural pretty
Several natural lines that launched at Natural Products Expo featured packaging worthy of packaging awards. The Jojoba Company from Australia presented a clear fresh outer carton with a custom molded top that was reminiscent of a beautiful flower. The bold colors captured attendees and presented strong shelf appeal for retail buyers.
Sow Good launched their natural fragrances in a luminous, dainty bottle, which highlighted the all-natural line of scents.
Beauty foods
Starbars launched a beauty bar called “Beauty”. This bar includes powerful superfoods known to help clear skin and boast collagen. The bar ingredients include flax seeds, apples, blueberries, camu camu, dates and palm nectar.
There were five pavilions at the Expo and two pavilions featured beauty and personal care products. Natural Products Expo West is produced by New Hope Natural Media, a division of Penton Media Inc.
