Cosmoprof Asia conferences emphasize how to break into the China market

This year's Cosmoprof Asia event has a stronger than ever conference program that will be featuring a specific segment on how the best ways to target the fast-growing China market.

This year, the “International Cosmetic Conference 2012 – Growing your business in China” is tartgeting those visitors who want what the organisers says it in-depth analysis of the Chinese cosmetic market, the evolution in sales channels and the needs of consumers.

It specifically targets foreign brands wanting to understand the market, in order to know exactly what the opportunities are and where, and how best to target them and avoid being overcome by the many challenges to market entry.

“How to enter the Chinese Cosmetic Market: Analysis of New Regulations and Introduction of Important Regulations” is another interesting conference aimed at navigating the complex world of cosmetics import registration in China.

This session will give attendees up-to-date information on the newly released government policies and health/ safety regulations.

Industrial and trends seminars

“Discover the Packaging World” will feature packaging industry experts who will throw light on the the latest challenges, trends and technologies for cosmetic packaging and design. In particular the seminars will look at sustainability, and costing.

Organic Monitor will also be on hand to share its lastest research on natural and organic cosmetics, singling out the opportunities that are available in this category and showing companies the best routes to take in order to grow their businesses in this area.

 Beautystreams, will also present a seminar entitled “A Season of Faith: Autumn-Winter 2013/14 Trend Forecast”, which look at the key themes of the season, with regards to colors, themes, hair, makeup and nail looks, olfactory, skin care, prints, packaging, and visual merchandising.

Hair and spa salon

A significant part of the show will also be devoted to the hair salon industry, underlined by the AHMA Summit and Hairstyling Award Final 2012, which will also feature the Asia Hair Masters Association (AHMA) annual summit on the 14th and 15th of November.

 This will include association hosting a series of hairstyling-related activities, including the AHMA Hairstyling Award Final, hair shows and seminars, which will be hosted by UK-based hair master Mark Leeson.

Meanhwhile, the event will also feature the Cosmoprof Asia 2012 conference program, which is entering its 5th year and will feature a panel of international experts who will discuss new trends and business opportunities relevant to spa operators.

The 17th​ edition of the event will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 14 - 16 November, and this year the organizer says it anticipates that the exhibition space will be 9 percent bigger than the previous event.

More than 1,800 exhibitors and 48,500 attendees are expected to gather at the annual event, with the exhibition space already sold for this year’s event said to have now surpassed the figures at the same point last year.
