Lipo looks to meet multinational demand with opening of Indian office

US ingredients supplier Lipo Chemicals has expanded its global reach in response to the demand of its multinational customers and growing personal care market in India,by opening up a new office in Mumbai.

The office, named Vantage Specialty Ingredients PVT Ltd , further increases Lipo’s global reach and will expand its continued commitment to developing and delivering specialty, basic and naturally derived ingredients to the marketplace.

In addition to many Lipo branded ingredients, products from four of its principals, Arkema, Micropowders, Ineos and St. Gobain, as well as the Desert Whale Jojoba line will be available in India.

Vivek Kadam is appointed general manager, and has more than 15 years of experience in the personal care and pharmaceutical industries .

"His familiarity with the industry will complement his management style and allow him to operate the India office while working closely with customers and distributors to establish our business in India," says a company statement.
