Boldface brings Kardashian Beauty brand to Australia and New Zealand
Celebrity beauty licensing company Boldface has the Australia and New Zealand markets after securing an agreement with Australia-based distributor Cosmetics Cubed.

Boldface is based in Santa Monica, California and was established by a group of industry veterans who have built the business up to create an expanding global footprint thanks to licensing deals that involve a number of A list names in the United States.

The distribution deal was put together through the work of Boldface co-owner Jo Horgan, who says that the deal will target the increased distribution of its portfolio throughout both countries.

The Kardashian Beauty brand

Perhaps the biggest licensing agreement is that held for the Kardashian Beauty brand, a product line that has been going from strength to strength since its launch last year on the back of the incredibly popular Kardashian celebrity name.

In particular, the move into Australia and New Zealand will target the distribution of the Kardashian brand, which already has a very high profile in the two countries thanks to the distribution of the family’s popular reality show there.

"Cosmetics Cubed is expertly positioned to showcase and support the Kardashian Beauty brand, since they bring a wealth of experience and integrity to both brick and mortar and online beauty merchandising in Australia,” said Nicole Ostoya, the CEO of the Company.

“They are known for superlative customer service and we are delighted to have them as a partner."

Australian waiting to get their hands on Kardashian Beauty

The company says its research shows that Australian fans of the TV series are already eagerly awaiting the launch of the beauty products in the market, and on the back of that it says sales projections are optimistic.

Cosmetics Cubed is already the exclusive distributor for a number of global brands, including Murad, Dermalogica, Smashbox and Lancome, and says that the Kardashian Beauty range is expected to be rolled out at 38 Cosmetics Cubed venues across the two countries.

The Boldface portfolio also includes licensing agreement for product lines that bear the name of Mario Lopez for a number of fragrances, together with a range of beauty and personal care products that are licensed under the Uglydoll name.
