Business-to-business media can be an amazing tool to help promote and grow your business, and all the tips on exactly how to get the most of out of it will be revealed during a Cosmetics Design conference presentation at next week’s PCHi expo.

Titled ‘How to make the business media work for you’, the presentation will be given by Cosmetics Design's senior editor Simon Pitman, and will take place on February 21st, at 10am, in the marketing conference hall.

There are a plethora of industry publications out there, both online and in print, with many individual publications focusing on specific aspects of the cosmetics and personal care industry.

Getting the message out there about your company

Many industry professionals have their preferred publications of choice to keep them up to speed with the latest happenings and innovations as a means of staying on top of their game and making informed executive decisions.

But equally important is getting the message out there about what your company is doing, particularly with respect to new investments, projects to grow the business and, probably most important of all, the launch of new products.

This in depth presentation aims to give you a look inside the media, to demonstrate how we work, and how you as a business can make your press communications resonate with journalists, upping your chances of seeing your company’s story published.

We are all busy, so make the message effective

Like everyone in this industry, journalists are busy people. This is why a three line press release with nothing but the bare details is more likely to get lost in a sea of more sophisticated and effective communications.

After attending this presentation, the aim is that individuals will have a far clearer picture of how to communicate effectively with the media, upping the chanced of eventually seeing your company’s news make the headlines.

The seventh PCHi will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, February 19 – 21, and will feature new elements, being marketed as a one-stop shop for cosmetic industry players in China, Asia and worldwide, according to show organizer Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions.
