Global nutrition company Herbalife has launched its newest skin care line for its markets in Asia Pacific as it looks to crack the lucrative region.

Herbalife SKIN is the latest addition to the California-founded company’s outer nutrition range of anti-ageing products that balances ingredients, botanicals, and extracts.

The SKIN line is comprised of 10 new products, including Soothing Aloe Cleanser, Polishing Citrus Cleanser, Energizing Herbal Toner, Line Minimizing Serum, Firming Eye Gel, Hydrating Eye Cream, Daily Glow Moisturizer, Replenishing Night Cream, Instant Reveal Berry Scrub, and Purifying Mint Clay Mask.

Skin care

The company hopes this will help crack the lucrative skin care market in the Asia Pacific region, particularly with its anti-ageing appeal.

The new products have been formulated with a blend of Vitamin B3 and antioxidant Vitamins C and E, and Aloe Vera, which have been proven to soften the skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles.

As well as the new products, the company also offers three skin care programs to address specific skin care concerns and deliver tailored results, and all will be made available in selected markets across Asia Pacific starting from mid-June 2014, and will be rolled out progressively in the additional Asia Pacific markets by 2015.

Wellness tour

Last month, Herbalife embarked on its first ever Asia-Pacific wellness tour, which sees seven Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) members and its director of fitness education visit a total of 30 cities in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

With the rising trend of ageing, the Herbalife wellness tour seeks to present valuable insights on nutrition, healthy lifestyle and physical activity as the world's population faces a global nutrition transition.

"The Asia-Pacific wellness tour reflects our commitment to helping people pursue a healthy, active lifestyle with education, training and industry-leading nutrition products,” says William M. Rahn, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Herbalife Asia Pacific.
