Shiseido’s plant longevity research outlines the benefits of the Enmei herb, which is described as a traditional botanical with roots in Japan.
Explaining the process, Shiseido announced to the press:“An extract of Enmei herb – also known as Isodon herb – was paired with Skingenecell 1P and Vitamin C Ethyl II to create SkingenecellEnmei, which brings out the healing power of skin cells from their source, regenerating beautiful skin from within while renewing damaged skin."
As it makes strides towards its Vision 2020 and in a move that further promotes Shiseido as a supporter of inner beauty, the personal care leader stated that the new anti-ageing ingredient formula leverages the healing power of skin cells, regenerates skin from within and renews damaged skin.
The company gets set to relaunch its Future Solution LX line, which also features a variety of Japanese botanical ingredients including premium green tea extract, hokkaido angelica root extract and oshima sakura leaf extract.
Hybridisation remains a key focus for APAC producers, who seek to combine natural, botanical ingredients with anti-ageing properties to impact inner beauty.
Entering beauty stores later this year, the skin care range will include a regenerating cream, protective cream, balancing softener, cleansing foam and contour regenerating cream that contains white floral scents emphasising the fragrance of popular Japanese flowers such as cherry blossom, plum blossom and Japanese rose.
Shiseido’s Future Solution LX range supports its beauty longevity system to highlight the importance of a holistic ritual throughout the day and into the night.
Four travel retail exclusives (TRE) will also accompany the range, with its Asia-Pacific, Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa collections launching later this year.
Its protective cream and emulsion, cleansing foam, balancing softener, eye and lip contour regenerating cream and firming contour serum lines will launch in APAC and the Americas travel retail market from August, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa in October.
