At the recent Belleza Y Salud event in Bogota, Colombia, Cosmetics Design was lucky enough to catch up with Juan Diaz, co-founder of H La Cosedora Nail Art, a company that is striving to reinvent the increasingly popular trend for nail stamping.

Diaz says that the team set about by conducting a comprehensive market research into stamping, and decided to go in a very different direction to the other stamping brands that were available on the market.

Instead they decided to develop a line of stamping products based on a very different technique to conventional products on the market.

In the video Diaz explains that the team went with a very light weight, compact stamping design made of acrylic, which is actually transparent, then gave the designs a name and a personality that customers could identify with.

Social media adds to brand engagement

The other crucial aspect to the success of the brand has been a concerted effort to educate consumers while also promoting the brand through social media.

During the interview, Diaz explains how the dedicated team of nail art fans who make up the H La Cosedora Nail Art team have worked hard to develop video tutorials that show 'hobbyist' nail art fans how to create successful stamping art in the comfort of their own homes.

Video conferences and a dedicated You Tube channel reach out to the brand's customers to help them make the most of the stamping products they buy from company.
