As beauty, health and wellness continue to collide, the demand for edible beauty products continues to rise. We speak to three experts to examine the developments, trends, challenges and future potentials of this space.

We speak to Sensient’s marketing and application manager Virginie Boulier, and sales, marketing and innovation director Marianne Peltier about how its acquisition of Mazza Innovation puts the company at the forefront of the edible beauty trend.

They also share their predictions of how such products will continue to evolve as the demand and trends continue to rise and talk about the challenges of educating consumers on the confusing terminologies.

Later, Pelen Yip, Asia Pacific regional and co-founder of FRAME Cosmetics, joins us from Hong Kong to give us insights into the needs and concerns of Asian consumers.

She also tells us how the brand hopes to stay ahead of the curve with out-of-the-box innovations.
