Kohonjin supports fermentation science through skin care launch
South Korean cosmetics name, Kohonjin, launches its anti-ageing skin care range that strives to promote harnessing beauty from within.

On 22nd March 2018, the K-beauty pioneer announced that it is set to reveal its product lineup including nutritional cream, skin essence and a mask pack.

Designed to make skin delicate and sensitive skin moist, Kohonjin uses ingredients produced through fermentation science that can then be absorbed into the skin as soon as it has been applied.

Global appeal

Utilising actress Min Jeong Kim as its exclusive model and celebrity brand ambassador, the brand focuses on skin care and anti-ageing through unveiling its line up of three products: nutritional cream, skin essence and mask pack.

Advertised at New York’s Time Square, the South Korean name strives to spread it K-beauty appeal globally through showcasing its ingredients range and recognisable red packaging, which is known to deliver good fortune in the Asian culture.

Biotech and anti-ageing

The nutritional cream highlights consumer demands for multifunctional products by offering dual cosmetic benefits that improve wrinkles and skin whitening through strengthening the resilience and skin moisturisation.

Continued skin use aims to “nurture lustrous skin”, and by focusing on skin pacification, the mask pack is bolstering Korean consumer favorability towards skin care and face masks.

Kohonjin adopts anti-ageing as a key part of its story, celebrated through its content creation and marketing. Its cosmetics range “induces active rejuvenation of skin through absorption”, creating a more youthful and clearer face that supports a blemish-free appearance with widened skin pores.

Absorption strength

Low irritating extracts of fermented oriental medicinal herbs maximise the product range’s absorption capability. Sensitive or dried skin is also protected as the product emphasises its strong efficacy on “calming dead skin cells” as it aims to create a clear skin tone.

The Kohonjin cosmetics name has been certified by the Food and Drug Administration of Korea and is recognised as having in-depth penetration of the easily absorbed nutritional ingredients. Following extensive research, these are structured in the format of atomised particles through a combination of products.

"Recently, the popularity of Kohonjin is increasing not only in Korea but also in European countries including Swiss, Denmark and France", shared personnel from Kohonjin Republic. "We shall continue to strive to manufacture healthy cosmetics for healthier skin."
