Indian Care Chemicals Convention firms up programme

The organiser of next month’s Indian Care Chemical Convention, to be held in Mumbai alongside HPCI India 2015, says it has firmed up an educational programme that focuses on both trends and technical aspects of the industry.

Registration is now open for the event, which will be held March 4 – 5 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre, organised by HPCI Exhibition & Conference.

The conference programme will include four specific segments – the ISCSS Scientific Conference, Seminar on Safety Assessment, free Technical Seminars and a series of Mintel Consumer Trends presentations – all of which will encompass speakers from more than ten different countries.

ISSC Conference Programme

The ISSCC segment will take place on March 4th​ and will include six presentations – three in the morning and three in the afternoon.

The morning session will include a key note address from A Sivakumar from Hindustan Unilever who will bring attendees up to speed on recent changes and updates to the Indian Cosmetics Regulations.

Other presentations in this segment will include an update on global regulatory changes and evolution, as well as an update on EU regulation from Birgit Huber of the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, perfumery and detergent association.

Safety and seminar programmes

On March 5th​, a whole day will be devoted to the safety seminar programme, which will include six presentations, while two full days of technical presentations will be given on March 4th​ and 5th​.

The technical seminars will feature some of the latest research, products and technologies to hit the market, from companies such as Clariant, 3V Sigma, Gattefossé and Kumar Organics.

The seminar on safety will include presentations that will touch on EU safety regulations, cutaneous safety, biocides in fragrances and dermatological testing of cosmetics formulations.

Mintel Innovation Centre

Market researcher Mintel will also have a strong presence at the event, and will be focusing the latest in innovation for the industry at its stand, number 261.

Presentations will be given on the floor by Mintel staff Jane Barnett, insights manager for the SEA, India and NZA regions, as well as Neha Nayak, trend and innovation consultant for India.
