The family-owned, French beauty business has purchased a 115-hectare green space in the south of France where it plans to cultivate many of the plants used in its product formulations, for improved sustainability and traceability.
L’Oréal has finalised its acquisition of the Clarins Group fragrance division, which includes Mugler and Azzaro – part of a wider push into perfume it says will be important for growth.
L’Oréal has signed an agreement with Clarins Group to acquire its entire fragrance division which includes Mugler and Azzaro. The deal is set to close in the first quarter of 2020.
Despite Clarins announcing solid quarterly results last week
there is still speculation over who might try and bid for one
of the last remaining major independent companies in the business.
