The Cosmetics Design team caught up with Ido Kadman, Marketing Communications Manager at BASF Care Chemicals, to find out what the company was doing at Cosmoprof North America, one of the industry's biggest events, but also one that is very much focused on brands.

BASF had a very active role at the event, taking part in the educational program with a presentation about BASF and ingredient trends, as well as playing an active role in the networking events and having a stand on the show floor.

In this video interview, we asked Ido if he saw BASF's role as being a disruptor, something he certainly agreed with, but emphasized that the company was disrupting 'in a good way'.

Ido also stated that he had received very strong feedback from both visitors and exhibitors on the show floor, with many people making enquiries about specific formulation challenges and also wanting to know more about the type of ingredient solutions BASF is presently offering as part of its portfolio.
