Yonsei University Nutrition and Health creates new whitening facial masks
The South Korean Yonsei University of Nutrition and Health launches two types of whitening facial mask: collagen and snail.

On 5th October 2017, the University, based in Seoul, South Korea, revealed it had unveiled the two types of skin whitening masks to the Philippine skin care market.

Collagen or snail?

Consumers can either select a collagen or snail facial mask based on their skin condition.

Marketed as functional, these new formulations contain a skin-whitening ingredient such as niacinamide.

Both skin whitening facial masks have been certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in Korea.

High quality is a core priority for Asia-Pacific (APAC) consumers. Accordingly, the facial mask production process optimised quality control during cosmetics manufacturing by producing them in a factory that has been granted a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).

Influencer marketing

Yonsei University Nutrition and Health has appointed Kriesha Chu as the face of the skin whitening masks.

Leveraging the power of influencer marketing that is sweeping APAC, Kriesha Chu, a singer from Korean TV audition show 'K-Pop Star season 6' in 2016, will model the new whitening masks to generate popularity amongst target audiences.

"We believe Kriesha Chu's bright and healthy image and her pure and clean skin would best represent our new facial masks,” expressed Sora Yoo at global business department of Yonsei University Nutrition & Health.

Encouraging Philippine shoppers

Available at S&R Membership Shopping stores in the Philippines, Yonsei University Nutrition and Health is offering a special discount on the facial masks to incentivise and engage consumers with the brand and product.

Commenting on the masks’ appeal, Yoo went on to say: “We expect the Philippine consumers can find their own beauty with bright and healthy skin, by using the new facial masks of Yonsei University Nutrition and Health."
