@cosme unveils The Best Cosmetics Awards 2017 winners

istyle Inc, a Tokyo-based operator of @cosme announced the winners of its best cosmetics awards 2017 in December last year.  As one of Asia's largest beauty information and review sites, the accolades are designed to reflect Japan's beauty trends of 2017.

The 2017 winner​

Opera's lip tint was awarded the grand prize, after receiving the largest number of positive responses from loyal beauty users on @cosme.

@cosme revealed in its mid-year results that Opera’s lip tint was the winner at the halfway point​, having received 5.4 out of 7 stars.

Voted for by the public​

All winners of @cosme beauty awards were chosen based on product rankings. The range of award-winning items was supported and picked by a wide range of beauty users and officials from within the cosmetics industry.

A loyal user base of Japanese women, beauty and cosmetics trend-adopters and shoppers access @cosme to view information and reviews. These posts cover a variety of beauty and cosmetic-related items that are considered important for women's daily beauty care purchases, uptake and routines.

The awards cover cosmetics and beauty products that have gained the gained support from consumers, based on reviews written in 2017 by members of @cosme who have used the products.

Taiwan beauty win​

istyle has also announced similar rankings relating to Taiwanese beauty, and those cosmetics items that have made a considerable impact in the market.

The awards, named "2017 UrCosme (@cosme TAIWAN) The Best Cosmetics Awards", celebrate Taiwan's beauty trends of 2017 through its beauty information and review site in Taiwan.

The 2017 UrCosme(@cosmeTaiwan) grand prize was awarded to Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick.
