Switzerland-based DSM was highlighting a renewed focus for its China division following extensive market research it carried out last year. The company says it completed extensive research in Beijing and Wuhan that have enabled it to "to deconstruct some key cultural codes that influence the personal care market". In particular, the company says that its research found that a 2.5% of SYN-COLL outperformed a market benchmark in the fight against lines and wrinkles on consumers who took part in the survey.
