Re:erth develops ‘baby step’ serum to lower hurdles for male skin care consumers

Singapore-based skin care brand Re:erth has debuted a new serum targeted at men which CEO Shinji Yamasaki believes lowers the barrier for them to start taking care of their skin.

Yamasaki’s believes the barrier to start using skin care is still too high for most men.

“At the core, we needed to create a baby step. It needed to be a product that would literally take seconds with no special application process.”

Ex-L’Oréal exec aims to democratise personalised prescription skin care

Modules, a new skin care brand from Singapore, is aiming to make personalised skin care with prescription-level active ingredients accessible for the masses.

Modules is a new skin care firm launched in Singapore that offers skin care consumers personalised skin care products made with prescription ingredients. In addition, the consumers can also personalise the textures and boosters.

Prescription-level ingredients Modules can give consumers access to include hydrocortisone and tretinoin. The latter is 20 times more effective than retinols consumers can get off the shelf.

B&B Labs set to refresh product line with newly updated microbiome complex

Malaysian cosmeceutical brand B&B Labs has updated its signature microbiome complex with prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics and plans to steadily expand it to other products in its range

The company recently updated its signature E-COLOGY PLUS+ complex to include prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics.

The updated E-COLOGY PLUS+ debuted in a trio of new moisturisers that have been tested and verified to support the skin microbiome by French lab, Qima Life Sciences.

Ayurvedic botanicals’ skin care line targets Asian consumers with ‘honest conversations’

Sachi Skin is ramping up its Ayurvedic-based NPD targeting concerns faced by people with diverse skin tones.

It currently has four treatment products generally categorised as brightening, hydrating, smoothening, and firming.

Hero ingredients include an Ayurvedic concoction known as triphala, silymarin, retinaldehyde, and 10.5% of its proprietary Ayurvedic bioflavonoid repair complex. 

 

Singapore solid beauty start-up stresses importance of product design for market acceptance

Singapore solid beauty JOMO Studio says it is determined to change the ‘good product, bad design’ mindset when it comes to sustainable products in APAC.

JOMO Studio offers a range of solid personal care products, spanning shampoo and conditioner bars, facial cleansing tablets, body wash tablets, and deodorant bars.

Its products target consumers who feel inclined to make their lifestyles more sustainable but are highly resistant to change.
