The UK fragrance brand is the most recent to call on specialty chemicals distributor DKSH for its expertise in selected Asian markets, in a bid to further expand its product line in the region.
Despite trading in line with expectations in the UK and Asia, hair care manufacturer PZ Cussons has been forced to issue its second profit warning in four months as continuing challenges in Nigeria lead to substantial downgrades.
CosmeticsDesign-Europe.com caught up with Seven Scent's Neil Weaver for an exclusive interview following the company's breakthrough year in which it has established itself in many markets across the world.
A year after it was spun off from UK personal care provider PZ Cussons, Seven Scent is reporting a positive operating results and a particularly strong interest from international markets.
PZ Cussons has admitted that trading remains challenging due to higher raw material costs, and tough markets in Europe due to UK input costs, and in Nigeria due to the ongoing elections, and has lowered its expectations for the financial year.
Strong trading performance, particularly in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, has boosted profits for PZ Cussons despite a fragile economic environment.

his business partner.
